Hi everyone
This my first topic in this forum and I have some questions which I hope that you could answer it. My first question or problem is that I'm going to travel to Indonesia, and this my first travel outside my country. I didn't travel abroad so, I'm having a problem regarding that I don't know what to do?
I know that the answer will be so long so, please help me with this and I also want to know about the new visa?

Hi, and welcome to the forum! You don't say which country you come from, so I don't know if you need a visa or not. The latest on the new visa regulation is that it may be effective from December 1 2003, but I would not be surprised if this is postponed even further. Your passport must be valid for at least six months, and you must have a return ticket. If this is in order there should be no problems to enter Indonesia, also make sure you see a doctor and get the necessary shots first. You will also want a travel insurance, just in case. Good luck, and enjoy your time in Indonesia!

HI, as above it depends on where your from!! the new visa regulations are apparantly (things take a long time in indonesia!! ) now in place and you get 30 days on arrival at a major port e.g. denpassar, Bali for a fee of around 30usd payable on arrival. Thats for most nationalities but it depends on where your from!! Have you had any thought on where in Indonesia you are going to travel? Over 13,000 isle!!!...you`ve got some deciding to do!!! Be careful which ones you choose as there is some `unrest` in parts of Indonesia. good luck I`m sure you will enjoy!
