Have you got any replies to your question. I wish to visit Sumba in April, and as far as I can see the only way by flight is from Denpasar?
The only place to stay near the beach seems to be Nihiwatu Resort, which is extremely expensive. Can you give me some ideas where else to stay? I am going there with my wife (backpacking).
