My Trip To Bintan
« on: February 14, 2005, 07:25:28 PM »

Hmmz.. i dun really know whether it is the right place to post my topic here? Feel free to move it if it's wrong~

Just join this forum and would like to share my experience at Bintan.

Well.. few yrs ago think when i was 12yrs, went with my frns to Jakarta, did not have a good impression of it, cause i was admitted to the hospital after i came back~ Heez.. think i ate the wrong food. =)

This time, my mum brought me to Bintan~ took a ferry from S'pore and we stayed at the Bintan Agro Resort. It's a great place with nice scenary. Ate Gong gong, prawns and kang kong veg almost everyday. Haaz. The trip was kinda of fast, only 3 days 2 nights. Think the eaxct place was Tanjung Pinang. On the 2nd night, i witness a very fierce fight happen between 2 person. That really scare me out. But nevertheless i enjoy my shopping trip, beach and the temples.

Think my entry not too interesting. Hee. I promise i will be back there again soon. =)

Hi,

Nice to know that u enjoyed Bintan.
Try moving up North, there is Bintan Resorts there. There are nice hotel accommodations, you can eat at kelongs, go for water sports... go for nite mangrove where you get fireflies. Isn't that wonderful?? How many of us living in the city, can get to see fireflies now??

Also, i think you can find a whole range of information at www.bintan-resorts.com if i am not wrong

Cheers,
Dutch guy
