Hi Bjorn, My congratulations with this fantastic en very complete website. It's a jewel. It's a bit sad for me that I discoverred it just now. On the 12th of july i'm travelling to Java and Bali, so I don't have much time left to "explore" your website complete. Allthough I enjoyed seeing your beautiful pictures of Java and Bali. I also "translate" the dutch comment that was written by a photo in the album of Sangeh in Bali. Thanks a lot for al the usefull information and keep on working the good thing. Hi there, If have safety concerms in Bintan, that i can say that, safety is defintely not an issue in Bintan. In fact, safety is not a major concern for the whole of Bintan Island. Bintan & Batam are generally laid back, fishing ports.. mainly for trading, and tourism. The Northern stretch of land - Bintan Resorts.. has lots of tourists activities. Kindly advise what vehicle might be rented on Bintan (Defender vs. regular w/automatic transmission) ? Angsana Resort recommend chauffeur driven car what is not a fair.
Anyway there a few roads on island, isn't it ?
